University of Arizona's Mel & Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) has been working together with multiple community groups to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in Southern Arizona.  Faculty and students have been collaborating on programs such as creating a training video for firefighters and EMS responders about best protocols to avoid infection, training students to support regional health departments by answering phones for a Coronavirus information hotline, and developing materials to guide parents and teachers on how to talk to kids about COVID-19.

MEZCOPH is leading the COVID-19 response in Spanish-speaking communities by deploying a phone calling campaign to provide information and guidance about the COVID-19 outbreak.   More information on all the College's community involvements with regards to COVID-19 can be found here.
