A six- month fellowship at the UTHSCSA Harlingen Regional Academic Health Center (RAHC) campus on autism.  The recently established U.S. Hispanic Autism Research Center (HARC) will investigate gene-environment interactions in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) in the South Texas region where the Hispanic population exceeds 80 percent.  This is the first center that will focus on understanding autism among Hispanics, the fastest growing sector of the U.S. population.

Program Duration: 

June thru December, 2010 (6 months)

Work hours:  Students will be required to participate in the program from Monday to Friday
