Thank you for your
interest in Hispanic-Serving Health Professions
Schools (HSHPS). HSHPS, a 501(c)3 non-profit
organization, is the only establishment in the
United States representing the interests and
concerns of Hispanic-serving colleges of medicine and public health and their faculty.
Presently, HSHPS is funded primarily through a
Cooperative Agreement from the CDC and grants from other
federal agencies such as the National Institutes
of Health, and the Office of Minority Health.
HSHPS is presently looking to expand its
financial income base through private company
sponsorship and donations. With this additional
financial support, HSHPS can:

Provide more
opportunities for participants in existing
programs

Develop new programs
to expand the mission of HSHPS

Sponsor events
-
Provide operating funds for the organization

Create scholarships for deserving Hispanic students interested in pursuing careers in medicine and/or public health
