Conference Award

Partial support is available to select candidates to assist with the cost of attending the HSHPS Professional Development Seminar: Preparing the Next Generation of Hispanic Health Professionals.

Approximate Range: $250-$750 (based on estimated cost of travel)

Anticipated Award Date: July 21, 2006

Deadline: July 14, 2006

Any currently enrolled doctoral or post-doctoral student or junior faculty (Assistant Professor or equivalent with 5 years or less in an academic position) at a HSHPS member institution is eligible to apply for sponsorship. Please see the complete list of HSHPS member institutions.

To be eligible, each applicant must submit a complete original HSHPS/CDC Registration Conference Award Application by July 14, 2006.

HSHPS will reimburse awardees upon receipt of a completed reimbursement form.
