  • In 2000, 33% of Hispanics earned a Master’s degree in education and public administration/services, compared the national average of 27%

  • In 2000, 22% of Hispanics earned a Master’s degree in business, compared to the national average of 25%

  • In 2000, 1% of Hispanics earned a Master’s degree in computer/information sciences, compared to the national average of 3%

  • In 2000, 4% of Hispanics earned a Master’s degree in engineering, compared to the national average of 6%

  • 10% of Hispanics between the ages of 25-29 had completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in 2000
