Hispanic-Serving Health Professions Schools (HSHPS) is a 501(c)3 member based non-profit organization established in 1996 as part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ “Hispanic Agenda for Action” initiative, with the intention of addressing the mounting public health issue of providing quality and culturally competent healthcare to Hispanics living in the United States.
